NOOOOOO!!!!! Can somebody please stop this horrible downward spiral? First my Bulldogs, having a very rough season to begin with, get eaten alive by the Gators and now this! If you haven’t already figured it out, I kinda lost. Okay, I lost BIG time! It wasn’t even close…my team was The Bad News Bears of Fantasy Football this week…sadly, I think even the Bad News Bears would have beaten them, despite the fact that it’s not even the same sport! Final score: 58-106 (you can’t see me but my head is hanging in shame right now).

I’m not sure where it all went wrong. Okay, actually I do. My hot guys decided to take a bye this week, even though they weren’t officially on a bye! Aaron Rodgers scored almost 40 points for me a few weeks ago and this week he scored just 6.95. He was predicted to get almost 25 points so I’d say he came up a little short. That being said, I forgive him…he just had an off week. He’s been pretty awesome the rest of the season and how can you NOT love this guy!
I’m still not sure what to do about Amendola! He scored 1 point! Seriously! However the previous week he scored almost 15 points. Plus, he’s one of my top hotties so I’ll keep him for at least one more week…we’ll see what happens.
Mike Wallace scored a big goose egg. He may need to go back to practicing with the high school football teams for awhile. I’m not even sure when I picked this guy up…I’m guessing it was on some bye week. However, he’s got to go and fast!
Tyler Eifert & Jordan Cameron? They totally blew off the game! C’mon guys, I want to keep you but you’re making my hot guy strategy look like a bad idea. My hubby even suggested, much to my dismay, that I actually try picking guys based on SKILL next year! I really don’t want to have to resort to such drastic measures!
Ever since I dropped St. Louis (I’m new to this and thought I had to drop them on the bye week), I cannot find a good defense to save my life. I went with Atlanta this week and got just 4 points out of them.
Now for the all important question…how did my #1 hottie Eric Decker do? Drumroll please…he was one of the few that actually scored for me this week, getting a respectable 12 points. I can’t believe hubby thinks it’s a bad idea for me to pick him first again next year. What is he thinking??? Just take a look and you’ll understand why Decker’s a #1 draft pick:
However, not even Decker could keep me from getting my worst ever report card from the Yahoo Report Card Guy…an F! If I still lived with my parents, I’d be totally grounded right now!!! Here’s what he had to say:
Underdog. Schmunderdog. This is the kind of victory the grandchildren will hear about. I’m pretty sure he wasn’t referring to my grandchildren!
Did you use any black magic this week? Men In Tights was still able to pull out a win with only 5 of their 10 starters exceeding their projected points. If you have any of that black magic left, can I please borrow some for next week?
The “nothing” part of Hall or Nothing seems to be confusing people this year. You want the Hall. Go for the Hall. THAT’S what I’ve been doing wrong…so glad I know now!
Fun Money Fantasies would have lost to every other team in the league this week. Ouch!
They may need to check dentals records to identify this victim. Fun Money Fantasies had their worst loss of the season, losing by 48.20 points. Now you’re just trying to make me feel bad!
I am super busy this week so I’m not sure how many changes I’m going to have time to make. I definitely need to drop a few underperformers but there’s always the big question of who to replace them with. What to do, what to do…
Also, I have a lot going on for the next three months so I may not be able to write update posts each week. If I don’t write a post but you still want to check out how my team is doing, I’ll post a quick update on Facebook. Hopefully, I’ll have better news next time so that I don’t have to request those dental records!
