I don’t know about yours but my tween has a huge appetite! You’d never know it because she’s such a skinny little thing but wow, that girl can eat! It can drive me a little nuts sometimes…I’ll give her a snack, start working on something important and less than two minutes later she’s telling me again how hungry she is.Check out the snack that'll help keep your tween from going hungry! https://ooh.li/ce30b31 Click To Tweet
Yogurt is one of Ashling’s favorite go-to snacks but she blows through those skinny yogurt tubes in 2 seconds flat.. That’s why I was so happy to discover Yoplait’s Go Big pouches last time we were at Walmart. Go Big was designed specifically with older kids in mind and they’re just the right size for my tween’s ever growing appetite!
Not only do I love the bigger size, they also make a great healthy snack alternative. For one thing, Go Big pouches are completely free of high-fructose corn syrup or artificial colors. They’re also a good source of calcium, contain real fruit and are gluten free so I can feel good about giving them to Ashling. That’s a good thing because now she’s totally hooked! I don’t think she likes them for all those reasons though. She just likes them because they taste great and the big pouch is “cool”!
Go Big wants to keep your tween well fed but they also want to let tweens know how amazing they are. They want to spread the word and are encouraging parents to write letters to their tweens telling them why they are so amazing. I love this idea because even though I encourage Ashling regularly, I’ve never actually put it in writing. There’s no better time than now, right?
As I was composing my letter, I realized Ashling had so many amazing qualities that this letter pretty much wrote itself. I couldn’t wait to share it with her:
I could tell she really loved it and I definitely plan to do this more often. When we were finished, we each enjoyed a special treat!
