I’ve always liked tea but it wasn’t until after my hubby and I got married that I started drinking it daily. He’s a big tea drinker and since he was already making it each morning, tea just slowly started to replace my morning coffee. Plus he’s always ordering different flavors and it’s fun to try something new from time to time.
That’s why I was excited to try the new TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods. They’re an authentic blend of sweet meets spicy with black tea, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and vanilla flavor all wrapped up into one. Plus there’s something relaxing about drinking a tea that’s steeped in 5,000 years of Indian history and exploring a world of flavor from the comfort of my own home. My package arrived in the mail and my Keurig® was ready to go!
Who doesn’t love opening a fun gift?!
To celebrate the release of these new TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods, TAZO® has teamed up with best selling author and host Padma Lakshmi. Not only have tea and chai long been a part of Padma’s heritage, now she’s developed unique recipes for you to enjoy with your cup of tea.
You’ll find great recipes to choose from including Baked Figs with Manchego Cheese and Cinnamon Tea Cookies. As soon as I saw goat cheese on the list, I knew I had to go with the Pomegranate and Goat Cheese on Pumpernickel Toast. I’ll pretty much eat anything that has goat cheese listed as an ingredient. I paired it with my TAZO® Chai Latte K-Cup® pods and enjoyed a nice leisurely breakfast.
