Your family will love these Cheesy Turkey Meatballs and you’ll love that you were able to sneak some veggies in!
What is it with kids and spaghetti & meatballs? My girls would eat it every night of the week if I let them. To be honest, in the past my meatballs weren’t much more than balls of turkey meat with a few spices thrown in. However, that gets boring fast and it was time to try something new. Plus I always love when I can throw some veggies in a recipe without my girls noticing! These were a big hit and they totally cleaned their plates (not counting the extra spaghetti scattered all around my four year old’s chair)! It was simple and delicious and I was even able to freeze some for next time!
I prefer to use ground turkey but beef would work just as well. First, get your cookie sheet, spray it lightly with cooking spray and preheat your oven to 375. Then combine the turkey with egg, worstershire sauce, bread crumbs, cheese and spinach. Now, get ready because as soon as you put your hands in to start mixing it all together, your phone is going to ring…happens every time!
Once your ingredients are mixed, you can form your meatballs and place them on the cookie sheet. Don’t forget to start boiling your pasta.
Cook for approximately 10-12 minutes (internal temperature should be 165).
Now, serve with your favorite pasta and sauce and watch your kids clean their plates!
