Want to know more about what happens at the Disney Social Media Mom’s Celebration? I’d always wondered myself, until I found that coveted invite in my inbox this year (I’m still pinching myself)! If you’ve read my post covering Day 1, just wait until you find out what was in store for us on Day 2!

I was invited by Disney to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration. I paid a conference fee and received complimentary goodies but all opinions are entirely my own.

Day 1 of the 2017 Disney Social Media Mom’s Celebration was a blast and I couldn’t wait to find out what was in store for us on day 2. For once, I didn’t even mind waking up early. The first thing on the agenda was to hop on the bus and head to Epcot for a ride on Soarin’.

If you haven’t “flown” on the revamped Soarin’ ride yet, you need to get yourself to Epcot. It’s one of my favorite Disney rides and now you can soar high above the Taj Mahal,  past the Great Wall Of China, over Sydney Harbor and visit plenty of other famous locations around the world.

Next it was on to the sponsor breakfast and showcase. I was excited to run into some bloggers I already knew and meet lots of new ones. It’s fun when you’ve been reading a blog for awhile and finally get to meet the person behind it.

While we ate, we heard from  our sponsors and I couldn’t believe it when GoGo squeeZ brought out Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes. They have partnered to promote children’s health and fitness and I loved that she was there! I lived in Atlanta during the summer Olympics of ’96 and was glued to the TV watching as Dominique and her teammates won gold medal after gold medal. I jumped at the chance to snap a picture with her afterwards!

The showcase was amazing! After meeting Dominque Dawes, I took advantage of photo ops with Moana and Rapunzel (with her boyfriend Flynn tagging along). One thing I love about meeting Disney characters is how they stay in character the entire time. It’s so much fun and definitely brings out the inner child in me!

Another highlight was the focus on Beauty And The Beast. The movie hadn’t come out yet and the buzz on it was huge. I couldn’t pass up the chance to have my photo taken with Beast’s rose.

HSN was there with Beauty And The Beast jewelry. It was a little over the top for me since I don’t wear much jewelry anyway, but it sure was fun to look at!

I loved the Beauty And The Beast decor and we even got a pretty candy dish to take home.

One of the many perks of attending the Disney Social Media Mom’s conference is the swag! By the end of the morning, my goody bag was completely full. In addition to the candy dish, I had make-up products from Neutrogena, Beauty And The Beast themed tea from Twinings, coffee from Joffreys, a fun cookbook from GoGo squeeZ and my favorite, a gift card from Alamo. I was already having the best day ever and we were just getting started!

The next event was an optional Social Media Challenge at Disney Springs. Since I love fun and games so much I couldn’t say no, especially since it involved shopping.

For this challenge, Disney gave us $250 gift cards to spend however we liked at Disney Springs. We just had to purchase everything there and put together a blog or social media post following one of four themes: Savvy Fashionist, Disney-fied Fun, or Disney bounding. I chose Disney bounding and knew just where to go.

I have been to World Of Disney in Disney Springs more times than I can count (we LOVE it there) but this was the first time I was actually shopping for myself. Usually I’m with the girls picking out stuffed animals, light sabers and princess dolls. In fact, it had been awhile since I shopped for myself at any store so this was a pretty big treat!

For my Disney bounding theme, I decided to show how I work Disney into every part of my day. I found some cute pajamas and a coffee mug for lounging around the house in the morning, super cute Princess tops (Belle, Arielle and Cinderella) for hitting the parks during the day and pretty Mickey Mouse jewelry for a night out. I didn’t have a lot of time to put it together but this was what I came up with.

Though I didn’t win the grand prize, it totally felt like a win because I had so much cool stuff to take home. I loved everything, especially my new Disney princess tops! I did cave and gave the girls my jewelry, since I’d promised to bring back presents.

Want to see who won the challenge? It was my friend Cindy from Surviving Mommy! If you are one of my Atlanta friends, you’ll remember her from her radio days at Star 94. Now she’s a successful blogger and her Disney bounding post was SO creative that it was no surprise at all that she won! She even got the whole family in on her Inside Out theme.

Next it was off to meet my friend Kristie for a little roller coaster action. I’m really loving this shirt (I’m actually wearing it right now as I write this post…no joke)!

That night it was off to Hollywood Studios for a pizza party at Pizza Rizzo. Pizza and wine sounded like a pretty good dinner to me! Then we took our places for the Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular viewing. I’d seen this show several times before but it never, ever gets old. I always end up wanting to go home and binge watch all the movies!

The grand finale was a Galactic Dessert Party, where we indulged in yummy treats like this one…

While the desserts were delish, the highlight was getting a chance to hang out with Star Wars characters afterwards.

Finally the Storm Troopers kicked us out and it was time to go back to Port Orleans Riverside, our home away from home. Disney was amazing, as always, but we were leaving for our cruise in the morning and needed our beauty sleep!
