I don’t know how it happens. I try to keep the house in good shape but somehow the clutter just piles up. From papers that the girls bring home from school to the mail that piles up, it just gets to a point where I can’t take it anymore. I know from talking to all my mom friends that I am definitely not alone.
I try to get to it all but have found that it helps a whole lot more if I’m organized about it. That’s why I love this printable declutter challenge. It’s kind of overwhelming to try to do everything all at once but breaking it down over a month makes it actually seem doable.
Each day we pick something to work on. One day it can be the fridge, the next day the laundry room and then the junk drawer (the one that scares me the most!). By the end of the month, it’s all done. Now I just need to come up with a good reward!
Why not print out this free declutter challenge and do it with me…unless you’re one of those rare mom unicorns that doesn’t have any clutter laying around!
I’m super excited to get started and am already dreaming about a clutter free home, how about you? I’ve already found some awesome things to help with kitchen organization and plan to pick up a few things to organize the laundry room too. This might even be fun!
