Storage Instructions

This pasta salad will keep in the fridge in an airtight container for 3–4 days. I don’t recommend freezing leftovers because it tends to separate and become grainy when frozen.

Variations and Add-ins

  • Pasta: You can use just about any type of pasta you prefer. Bowtie pasta, rotini pasta, ziti or any short pasta all work great for this recipe.
  • Cheese: I used Colby jack cheese, but you can use pepper Jack or mild or sharp cheddar cheese.
  • Bacon: Add crispy bacon bits to give this a smoky, savory twist.
  • Veggies: Feel free to add chopped red onion, bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, or olives for extra flavor and texture.
  • Hard-boiled eggs: Chopped hard-boiled eggs will add protein and a creamy texture.
  • Other fresh herbs: Feel free to try other herbs like fresh parsley, chives or even a little fresh basil.
  • Spicy add-ins: For a kick of heat, add a splash of hot sauce, a pinch of red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper or a little siracha sauce.
