Moving into a new house is so much fun! It’s even better when it’s a new neighborhood because we’re all getting to know each other at the same time. We were one of the first on our street but people have been slowly moving in and it’s been really fun to meet my new neighbors. My husband calls me a stalker but as soon as I see a moving truck rolling down the street, I get so excited!

I’m already looking forward to inviting people over for a neighborhood get-together. I’m just waiting for a few more people to move in.  It’s never too early to plan though and we’ll need all kinds of summer snacks and drinks. Luckily there’s a Walmart right down the street to make it easy.

Blue Diamond Nut-Thins

First on the list, cheese and crackers. It’s my staple for any party (and my favorite summer snack). My newest cracker obsession is Blue Diamond Almond Nut-Thins. Real Blue Diamond almonds are combined with crispy crackers to make a crunchy snack with a deliciously nutty taste. Not only that, they contain no artificial flavors and are wheat and gluten free.

I like having these nut and rice crackers on hand for get togethers because I can put them on a platter with cheese or other toppings for a simple appetizer in seconds!

These aren’t just for parties though. My hubby and I love just hanging out on our patio during the summer and it’s always better with something to munch on. Nut-Thins are a light and easy snack that we both enjoy. 

Sabra Hummus

I have a confession…I never liked hummus. All my friends thought I was crazy but the truth is, I didn’t give it much of a chance. I tried it once years ago and it wasn’t my favorite so that was that. I’d still serve it when I had friends over because it’s easy and everyone (besides me) always loved it.

That was until I tried Sabra’s Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. I love roasted red peppers so when I saw this in the Walmart deli, I decided to give hummus one more try. I’m SO glad I did! This stuff is delish! 

The best part is that it can be combined with a variety of foods. I just took food that I already had in my fridge and pantry. I cut tortillas and threw them in the oven for a few minutes and they were great for dipping. We also had some extra zucchini on hand so I used that up too.  

Sabra has lots of other flavors so just pick your favorite and serve with veggies, pita chips or even chicken wings. It’s a great dip for summer gatherings because there’s no work involved…just open up the package and serve.

SeaPak Budweiser Beer-Battered Shrimp

I discovered these Budweiser Beer-Battered Shrimp from SeaPak and they are really good! Battered in Budweiser Beer, they have an oven crunchy texture with a pub style taste…yumm! My hubby and I are both shrimp lovers and couldn’t get enough.

We’re going to need more than one box for our party because these will go fast! The tangy citrus sauce took these shrimp up another notch. 

Like the other summer snacks, these are super easy! Just toss them on a cookie sheet, bake and put on a plate with the sauce. It’s a protein that you won’t have to cook or grill…leaving you more time to have fun with friends.  

Canada Dry Ginger Ale

You can’t have a party without drinks, right? These new flavors from Canada Dry are great for drinking on their own or to use as mixers. I totally stocked up and couldn’t wait to give them a try.

Canada Dry Ginger Ale with Lemonade and Ginger Ale with Orangeade are fun twists on an old favorite. Naturally flavored with real ginger and a splash of real orange and lemon juices, they’re great for occasions like summer parties, relaxing by the pool, hanging out at the beach or just chilling on the patio!
