When you want to show your love with some delicious Valentine’s Day treats, these sweet, edible cups filled with conversation hearts will do the trick!
I’m getting all geared up for Valentine’s Day and of course that means treats are involved. It’s going to be hard to top the mouthwatering Valentine Candy Bark that I made last week but I’m up for the challenge! I haven’t made anything with my Wilton cup mold for awhile so I thought I’d pull them out and get to work.
I’ve been dying to try these molds with marshmallow treats for awhile and now was as good a time as any! Why not make marshmallow treat cups, then fill them with cute conversation hearts?! This was going to be fun, but then again, I’m happy with any excuse to use this mold!
How To Make Super Cute Valentine’s Day Treats
First I added some sprinkles to the mold because everything looks better with sprinkles, right? I wanted just enough to cover the bottom…too many and they’d be flying all over the place when I pulled the cups out of the molds.
Next, it was time to mix up a batch of marshmallow treats. While I was melting the marshmallows, I added several drops of pink food coloring and mixed it well. Of course our cups had to be pink for Valentine’s Day!
Next it was time to add the mix to the mold. The most difficult part is the stickiness so I put a little corn starch on my hand to make it easier. Fill each cup mold completely, pressing down to be sure there are no air pockets. Make sure the top is as flat as possible too. That’s actually the bottom so you’ll want it to stand up straight.
Refrigerate until fully cool, then remove the cups from the mold and fill with your favorite Valentine’s Day candy. I used conversation hearts but you can use whatever makes you happy!

- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 bag, 10oz marshmallows
- 5 cups crispy cereal
- Pink food coloring
- Valentine sprinkles
- Conversation hearts
- Pour just enough sprinkles into the cup molds to cover the bottom
- Melt 1/4 cup butter in large saucepan over medium heat
- Add marshmallows and stir frequently
- When marshmallows are approximately halfway melted, add 2-4 drops of pink food coloring
- Continue stirring until melted, then add the cereal and stir until completely covered
- Add mixture to cup mold, pushing all the way down to eliminate air pockets.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes or more, then fill the cup molds.
