Ingredients

  • 24 medium to large shrimp
  • 2 tbsp El Yucateco Red Chile Habanero
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 8 oz block of pepper jack cheese
  • 1 crescent dough sheet
  • 3 tbsp ranch dressing
  • sliced scallions for garnish

Instructions

  • Combine 3 tbsp Chile Habanero, olive oil and garlic.
  • Add shrimp and marinate for at least 1 hour
  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Cut cheese into 24 long slices that are just long enough to cover the shrimp
  • Unroll crescent dough sheet and cut 1/2 lengthwise
  • Cut each of those into 12 strips so that you have a total of 24
  • Place one shrimp in the middle of a crescent strip and add a cheese slice on top
  • Wrap the crescent strip around the shrimp, making sure to cover as much as you can so the cheese stays put while cooking
  • Cook for 16-20 minutes, until crescent turns a golden brown
  • Mix the remaining 2 tblsp of Chili Habanero with 3 tbsp ranch dressing while the shrimp bites are cooking
  • When the shrimp bites are finished, drizzle ranch mixture over them, then top with sliced scallions.
  • Serve hot
