- 24 medium to large shrimp
- 2 tbsp El Yucateco Red Chile Habanero
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 8 oz block of pepper jack cheese
- 1 crescent dough sheet
- 3 tbsp ranch dressing
- sliced scallions for garnish
Combine 3 tbsp Chile Habanero, olive oil and garlic.
Add shrimp and marinate for at least 1 hour
Preheat oven to 375
Cut cheese into 24 long slices that are just long enough to cover the shrimp
Unroll crescent dough sheet and cut 1/2 lengthwise
Cut each of those into 12 strips so that you have a total of 24
Place one shrimp in the middle of a crescent strip and add a cheese slice on top
Wrap the crescent strip around the shrimp, making sure to cover as much as you can so the cheese stays put while cooking
Cook for 16-20 minutes, until crescent turns a golden brown
Mix the remaining 2 tblsp of Chili Habanero with 3 tbsp ranch dressing while the shrimp bites are cooking
When the shrimp bites are finished, drizzle ranch mixture over them, then top with sliced scallions.
Serve hot
