This Honey Garlic Chicken recipe will have everyone begging for seconds! With a caramelized outside and a tender, juicy inside, this sticky sweet chicken is loaded with flavor and so good that it'll be a family favorite!
Combine honey, soy sauce and apple cider vinegar in a medium bowl. Whisk together until well blended.
3/4 cup Nature Nate's Honey, 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Stir in ginger and garlic.
4 tbsp fresh ginger, 4 cloves garlic
Place chicken pieces in a gallon size storage bag. Pour 1/2 of the honey mixture over the chicken, seal the bag and move the chicken around inside the bag until it's evenly covered.
8 chicken thighs
Place bag on a plate and refrigerate, letting the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes. I like to turn the bag over halfway through, just to get even more coverage on both sides (totally optional though).
When you're ready to bake, heat the oven to 400° and place chicken in a baking dish, skin side down.
Bake for 20 minutes, then turn the chicken over. Pour the other 1/2 of the honey mixture over the top and bake for another 15-20 minutes. The chicken is ready when your meat thermometer reads 165°.
