Instructions

  • Print the tracers and cut them out. Use them to trace your shapes on the craft foam.
*NOTE: When you trace the green shapes, trace them on one side of the craft foam. Then you'll have a long , thin piece left over, which is what you'll use to wrap the hat around your head.

  • Once you've traced all the shapes, cut them out.

  • Glue the green rectangle to the front of the hat, then add the black rectangle right above it..
    Putting the leprechaun hat together
  • You may need to trim the edges of the black strip to even it up with the hat.

  • Now glue the gold square to the front of the black strip, and add the small black square in the center.

  • Finally, attach the beard. Glue it low to the back of the hat so that there's enough room for little "leprechaun" faces to peek through.
  • You can even decorate the hat a little more. I added some gold shamrocks that I cut from this St. Patrick's Day trim.
