Apple Cider Jello Shots With Fireball Whiskey

  • Place 16 (2 oz.) plastic cups on a cookie sheet and set aside. Put 2 cups of apple cider in a medium saucepan, then sprinkle the Knox gelatin on top.
    3 cups apple cider, 2 packets Knox unflavored gelatin
  • Whisk the cider and gelatin together until the gelatin is incorporated, then heat over medium heat just until the mixture starts to steam.
  • Remove from the heat and whisk in 1 cup of Fireball whiskey and 1 cup cold apple cider. Stir until the mixture is well combined.

  • Pour Jello mix into shot cups.
  • Move the shots to the refrigerator to let the mixture cool for at least 4 hours.
  • Just before serving, top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or a cinnamon stick.

Notes

  • Be careful not to use too much alcohol or your shots won’t set properly.
  • Your shots should keep in the refrigerator for 4-5 days. Keep them in an airtight container or use Jello shot cups with lids to keep them covered.
