Equipment

Instructions

  • Pour heavy whipping cream into a large bowl. Use a mixer to whip until stiff peaks begin to form.
  • Fold in condensed milk and mix until well blended.
  • Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Divide the mixture into four bowls. Add the pink strawberry frosting to one bowl, along with a few extra drops of pink food coloring. Add black, teal and purple food coloring to the other bowls. Use a wooden skewer, spoon or spatula to mix until the color is evenly distributed.
  • Add the ice cream to loaf pan or casserole dish, a spoonful at a time. Then use a knife or wooden skewer to swirl the colors together. You don't need to mix it too much because the colors will blend together more once it's frozen.
  • Add sprinkles for the finishing touch.
  • Refrigerate at least 6 hours but ideally overnight. Enjoy

Notes

  • Because of the frosting, this ice cream is a little softer than usual. We love it that way but you can leave out the frosting if you like (though the frosting does give the ice cream a delicious strawberry flavor).
  • The black ice cream can get a little lost among the other colors. If you want it to stand out more, just use a larger portion of the ice cream mix with the black food coloring.
