Cut a yellow piece of construction paper just long enough to fit around your toilet paper tube. Glue it to the tp roll.
Next, cut four strips of black construction paper. They should be about 1/2" wide and long enough to wrap around the toilet paper roll.
Glue the remaining strips of black paper around the bumblebee body. Glue googly eyes to the head and use black marker to give it a smile.
Trace and cut out the wings. I used white craft foam, just because I like how sturdy it is. However, you can use white construction paper if you don't have craft foam.
Glue wings to the back of the bumblebee.
Now your bumblebee is ready to take flight!
Notes
If your child is too young for a glue gun, they can use white craft glue instead.
