Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup pico de gallo
  • 8 hard taco shells
  • 8 soft taco shells
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • ¼ cup cilantro chopped
  • ½ red onion sliced
  • 3.8 ounces black olives, drained 1 medium can
  • 1 lime diced large

Instructions

  • Prepare your taco meat according the the directions on the seasoning package.
2 lbs ground beef, 1 package taco seasoning
  • Next, start assembling the taco board! Place the large bowl of the taco meat in the center of the board. Add the smaller bowls of salsa and Pico de Gallo to opposite corners.
1 cup salsa, 1 cup pico de gallo
  • Next, add the soft and the crunchy taco shells. Just keep in mind that you don’t need to put them all out at once, you can add more as needed.
8 hard taco shells, 8 soft taco shells
  • Start filling in the board with the lettuce and cheese. Again, don’t feel like you need to add it all at once. You can always refresh when it gets low.
2 cups shredded lettuce, 2 cups shredded cheese
  • Fill other spaces on the board with the smaller ingredients like cilantro, onions and black olives. I like to work from side to side and just find an extra space for each thing. Limes were a great option to fill in the blank space on each end. Enjoy!
¼ cup cilantro, ½ red onion, 3.8 ounces black olives, drained, 1 lime

Notes

  • If you want to prep ahead of time, chop your vegetables the day before and store them in airtight containers or plastic bags. You can also prepare the taco meat in advance, then reheat it just before serving.
  • Add any other extras you like. Guacamole and jalapenos are always a good choice!
