Slice the top off each bag of animal crackers. Roll the edges down a little and gently crush the cookies right inside the bag.

In a mixing bowl, whisk the cold milk and cheesecake pudding mix until smooth. Place it in the fridge for about 10 minutes to thicken.

Once the pudding has set, add three heaping spoonfuls to each bag.
Next, add three heaping spoonfuls of cherry pie filling.

Pipe a swirl of Cool Whip on top using a piping bag fitted with a 1M tip (or just use a spoon if that’s easier).

Crumble a few extra cookies over the top and serve right away.

Go easy when crushing the cookies. You want small chunks, not powder.
Don’t assemble these too far in advance or your cookie pieces will lose their crunch.
If transporting them, stand them up in a high-sided baking dish to keep them from tipping over.
