Ingredients

  • 1 watermelon medium
  • 12 ounces white cheddar cheese cubed
  • 3/4 cup blueberries

Instructions

  • Slice watermelon into 1" thick slices.
    1 watermelon
  • Use a star cookie cutter to cut into as many star shapes as possible. I used a 4.6" cookie cutter to start, cutting as many large stars as possible. Then I went back with a 1.6" size to cut the remaining watermelon pieces.
  • Top each star shape with a cheddar cheese cube and a blueberry. Secure into place with an American flag toothpick. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
12 ounces white cheddar cheese, 3/4 cup blueberries

Notes

This makes approximately 45 stars, 15 large and 30 small ones. However, this is just a rough estimate. The number of stars you get will vary depending on the size of the watermelon, the thickness of the slices and the size of the cookie cutters you use.
