White Chocolate Milkshake

This White Chocolate Milkshake is thick, creamy, and packed with rich white chocolate flavor. It comes together in just minutes and is guaranteed to become your new summer obsession!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 cups Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk
  • Whipped cream and white chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

  • Start by melting the white chocolate chips and heavy cream in a saucepan on medium heat, for about 2 minutes, then let cool completely.
    1/2 cup White Chocolate Chips, 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • Once the white chocolate mixture is cool, add that mixture, the milk, and the ice cream to your blender and blend for about 15-30 seconds on full speed.
    3 cups Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, 1/2 cup Whole Milk
  • Serve, add whipped cream and more white chocolate chips to enjoy!

Notes

  • Be careful not to overheat the white chocolate...heat just until the chips are smooth. Overheating white chocolate can cause it to seize up and turn grainy.
  • Be sure to let the mixture cool completely. Adding warm chocolate to ice cream will melt everything too fast.  
  • Don't blend for too long. All you need is about 15-30 seconds. Overblending can warm the milkshake and makes it too thin.
  • Pop your glasses in the freezer for a few minutes before pouring to keep everything extra cold.
