Berry Sangria

White wine sangria with berries is the perfect wine cocktail for hot summer nights. Whip up a pitcher and try this delicious berry drink for yourself!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups blueberries
  • 2 cups strawberries
  • 2 cups cherries
  • 1 750 ml white wine chilled*
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur Cointreau or similar
  • 1/2 cup bourbon
  • 24 ounces ginger beer chilled

Instructions

  • Cut cherries in half and remove pits
  • Cut two-thirds of the blueberries in half and slice strawberries into quarter inch pieces.
  • Combine fruit with white wine. Refrigerate and chill for about 1/2 hour to blend the flavors.
  • Add orange liqueur, bourbon and ginger beer. Stir and serve over ice (be sure to include a large serving of fruit in each glass too).

Notes

This recipe is especially good with a citrus-y sauvignon blanc.
