What kind of wine do you use for sangria?
Traditionally sangria has been made with red wine but now everyone has discovered that sangria blanca, or sangria with white wine, tastes pretty darn good too! If you’re using white, dry white wines are best.
You’re getting thirsty now, aren’t you? Ready to mix up a batch of your own?
How To Make White Wine Sangria With Berries
Start by pitting your cherries and cutting them in half (if you have a cherry pitter, it makes this step super easy).
Next, cut about two thirds of the blueberries in half.
Finally, remove the leaves from your strawberries and slice them.
Now mix the fruit with a bottle of white wine and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This helps to bring out the fruity flavor. Finally, add orange liqueur, bourbon and ginger beer.
How delicious does this look?!
It’s finally time to try this white wine sangria for yourself!
