Blackberry Mojito Recipe

This delicious Blackberry Mojito, with the delicious combination of fresh blackberries and crushed mint, will take your regular summer cocktails to a whole new level!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 5 fresh blackberries
  • Juice of half a lime
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 2 ounces white rum
  • 3 ounces club soda
  • Ice

Instructions

  • Add the blackberries, fresh lime juice, sugar and mint leaves to a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously until the blackberries and mint leaves have been crushed. If you have a muddler, use it to crush them together for even more minty flavor!
    5 fresh blackberries, Juice of half a lime, 1 tbsp granulated sugar, 6 mint leaves
  • Add the rum, then fill the shaker about halfway with ice. Shake again.
    2 ounces white rum
  • Pour the drink into an ice-filled glass and top with soda water.
    3 ounces club soda, Ice
  • Garnish with extra blackberries, fresh mint leaves, or lime wedges.

Notes

  • If you don't have a muddler, you can use the end of a wooden spoon.
  • Be sure to use a light rum. The dark or spiced variety won't work as well and may overpower the mint and lime flavors.
