Cherry Hand Pie

With just three ingredients, these cherry hand pies are as easy to make as they are delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg premade pie crust
  • 1/2 cup cherry pie filling
  • 1 egg whisked

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Unroll pie crust. Cut 8 heart shapes into the pie crust with the cookie cutter.
  • Place four pie crusts on an ungreased cookie sheet. Drop about two tablespoons of cherry pie filling into the center of each heart.
  • Top each of the pie crusts with another pie crust and use a fork to seal the edges together.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut a slit into the top of each crust.
  • Brush egg onto the top of each pie crust with a pastry brush.
  • Bake pies until pie crusts are golden brown, about 10 minutes.
  • Cool completely and serve.
