Place Jello shot cups or plastic shot glasses on a shallow baking sheet that fits into the refrigerator.
Bring 1½ cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove the hot water from the heat and whisk in the green Jello mix, stirring until the Jello is completely dissolved.

Stir ½ cup vodka into the gelatin mixture.

Pour the green Jello evenly into the plastic cups, filling each about halfway to the top. Move them to the refrigerator to chill for 2 hours.
After the green Jello has set, prepare the red layer. Bring 1½ cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove water from the heat and whisk in the red Jello, stirring until dissolved.
3 cups water, 3 ounces strawberry jello
Stir in ½ cup of vodka.

Allow the red Jello mixture to cool completely, then pour it evenly into the shot cups on top of the green layer. Move the shots back to the refrigerator to chill for another 2 hours.
Before serving, top with whipped cream and Christmas sprinkles.
