Ingredients

  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles or relish
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons pickle juice
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon ranch seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh dill weed for garnish
  • pickle slices for garnish
  • deli style pretzels and chips for dipping

Instructions

  • If you're using whole dill pickles, start by chopping them into fine pieces and adding them to a large mixing bowl. Add cream cheese, mayo, extra pickle juice and sour cream.

  • Next, add the dried dill weed, onion powder, garlic powder and ranch dressing seasoning and mix well. Then, add pepper and salt to taste.

  • Mix with an electric mixer until well combined.
  • Refrigerate for one hour, covered, until chilled.
  • Pour the dip into a serving dish, then top with fresh dill and chopped pickles.

Notes

Don't have ranch seasoning? Just mix 1 teaspoon each of dried parsley, garlic powder, and onion powder with a pinch of salt as a substitute.
