Equipment

  • wire rack
  • parchment paper
  • 1M Tip
  • Donut Pan
  • Baker's Joy Cooking Spray

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 3/4 cup wedding cake creamer
  • 2 cups white melting chocolate
  • 1 cup pink melting chocolate
  • 32 ounces white frosting two containers
  • Easter sprinkles optional
  • coconut oil optional

Instructions

Making The Donuts

  • Start by adding flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sugar to a large mixing bowl.
2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 3/4 cup sugar
  • In another bowl, mix your eggs, vanilla, melted butter, and creamer.
2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 2 tablespoons butter, 3/4 cup wedding cake creamer
  • Add the wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until well combined. The mixture should be a little thicker than cake batter.
  • Pour batter into a piping bag, and grease your donut pan with cooking spray. Fill each well halfway with batter. Be careful not to overfill.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted in the middle of a doughnut. Let them cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer them to the cooling rack to cool completely.

Decorating The Donuts

  • To make the bunny feet, first lay out a sheet of parchment paper. Then melt the white candy melts in the microwave. Microwave in one minute intervals, stirring after each, until smooth. If you need to, you can add a little coconut oil to get a smoother finish.
2 cups white melting chocolate, coconut oil
  • Pour melted white chocolate into a piping bag and cut off a small tip. Pipe pairs of ovals onto your parchment paper. Let them set, then flip them over so the smooth side faces up.
  • Melt your pink melting chocolates the same way, and pour into a piping bag. Cut off a small tip. Pipe one circle in the middle and three small ones on the top of each oval to make the pads of the feet. Let the chocolate set.
    1 cup pink melting chocolate
  • Fill a piping bag, with a 1M tip, with white icing. Pipe icing on the top of the donut in a circular motion. Then, use the icing to create a “tail” in the center.
    32 ounces white frosting
  • Place your bunny feet on the edge of the bottom of each donut, below the tail.
  • dIf you want to switch things up, you can decorate half of the baked donuts with bunny feet and half with sprinkles. Then just serve and enjoy!

Notes

The wedding cake creamer gives these a delicious flavor but you can substitute regular creamer if you need to.
