Equipment

  • Griddle or Skillet
  • Piping Bags and 1M Tip

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • Green gel food coloring
  • 16 ounces white frosting optional
  • Heart sprinkles
  • Extra butter for skillet

Instructions

  • Start by placing your flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl. Whisk until all the dry ingredients are combined.
2 cups flour, 4 teaspoons baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Add milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, green food coloring and egg. I used about a 1/2 teaspoon neon green food coloring and a couple squirts of dark green, but you can make them any shade of green you'd like.
1 1/2 cups whole milk, 1/4 cup butter, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 egg, Green gel food coloring
  • Mix with a hand or stand mixer until the pancake batter is well combined.
  • Using a pancake batter dispenser or a regular piping bag, pipe the batter onto a well greased skillet that's heated over medium low.

  • Cook the pancakes until the edges are cooked through and the bubbles on top begin to pop. Then quickly flip the pancakes and cook the other side. It takes a minute or less. The pancakes are done when they begin to brown slightly.
  • If you're adding icing, fill a piping bag with frosting and add a 1M tip. Piping icing between each pancake and a little on top. You could also top your pancakes with a drizzle of syrup or a dusting of powdered sugar, if you prefer!
    16 ounces white frosting
  • Finally, add heart sprinkles, then serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you don't have a pancake dispenser or piping bag, you can use a ladle or large serving spoon instead.
  • If your pancakes are too brown, turn the heat on the stovetop a little lower.
