Instructions

For The Sorting Hats

  • Microwave chocolate wafers in 30 second increments until fully melted (stirring in between).
    Chocolate melting wafers
  • Snip the bottom ¼-⅓ of the ice cream cones with a knife or kitchen scissors. You'll have to be careful not to crack the cone.
    Ice cream cones
  • Dip the cone in the chocolate, making sure it's completely covered. Allow the excess to drip off then place it on the center of a Tagalong. Let the chocolate set and it's ready to serve.
    Tagalongs
  • If you don't have tagalongs, you can make chocolate covered Oreos or substitute any other round chocolate cookie.

For The Acceptance Letters

  • Break a graham cracker in half so you have two squares.
    Graham crackers
  • Using your white cookie frosting, pipe a line from the top left corner to the center of the square. Repeat from the top right corner.
    White cookie frosting
  • In the center, where the two lines meet at a point; use your red cookie frosting to create a wax seal. (Just a piped filled-in circle).

For The Witch Brooms

  • I love how easy these are! Just place a small pretzel stick into the center of each mini Reese's cup.
Stick pretzels, Mini Reese's peanut butter cups

For The Pocky Wands

  • To make the magic wands, just brush Pocky Sticks with gold edible luster dust. I just used a touch but feel free to use as much or as little as you like.
    Pocky Sticks, Gold luster dust

For The Lightening Bolt Brie Wheel

  • Using a cookie cutter or just a knife, cut out a lighting bolt shape in the center of the brie, about half-way down.
    Wheel of brie
  • Remove the cheese from the center then spoon some of the peach preserves into the cut out shape.
    Peach preserves

To Assemble The Board

  • Place the lightning bolt Brie the center a serving board, cutting board or large tray.
    Wheel of brie
  • Place your bowl of dark cherries in the top left. Add your grapes to the bottom left and the bowl of olives to the bottom right.
Dark cherries, Green grapes, Green olives
  • Next, add a small bowl of pistachios just to the top right of the Brie.
    Pistachios
  • Place a salami rose in the top right corner. Add your other salami rose just above the grapes. Arrange the sorting hats along the bottom and add some of the cubed cheese under the top rose.
    Salami, Pepper jack cheese cubes
  • Place the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup brooms around the Brie, graham cracker envelopes to the right of the Brie, then about a cup of Cracker Jack popcorn below it.
    Cracker Jacks
  • Place your pocky wands near the top, to the right of the cherries. Fill in the space below with more green grapes.
    Pocky Sticks, Green grapes
  • Add the chocolate covered pretzels below the cherries, then fill in any empty spaces with assorted crackers.
    Chocolate covered pretzels, Assorted crackers
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • To make the perfect salami rose, layer salami slices around the rim of a small glass. Repeat the layers four times. Flip the glass over onto your board then slide it out and you'll have your salami rose.
  •  It's best to keep the brie cold before cutting into it. This helps it hold its shape when you make the lightning bolt.
  • Be sure to add party picks and tongs to make it easy to serve.
  • The ingredient amounts above were left blank so that you can make this board as big or as small as you'd like.
