2 cups pasta sauce 1 beef broth cube 1 cup hot water 14 ounces hot dogs 3 cups penne pasta 1/2 cup parmesan cheese extra parmesan cheese for garnish
Mix the pasta sauce with beef broth and a cup of water. Simmer for 8-10 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
2 cups pasta sauce, 1 beef broth cube, 1 cup hot water
Cook the hot dogs in a hot skillet. You can also grill them if you prefer.
14 ounces hot dogs
Cut the cooked hot dogs into bite-sized slices.
Add them to the sauce along with the Parmesan. Mix well and let it cook for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
In the meantime, boil the pasta in a large pot of salted water, according to the package directions.
3 cups penne pasta
Add the cooked pasta and stir to combine. Taste and add a little salt and pepper if needed.
You can never go wrong adding more cheese on top (there's no such thing as too much cheese).
extra parmesan cheese for garnish
For the best results, let the dish sit for 2 minutes before serving. This gives the flavors more time to meld together.
