As fun to make as they are to eat, these adorable Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes are perfect for birthday parties, summer gatherings or any special occasion when you want a unique dessert!
Start by adding your cake mix, eggs, oil, and water to a large bowl (use the amounts listed on the box).
1 box Funfetti Cake Mix, 3 eggs, ½ cup oil, 1 cup water
Mix on high until the cake batter is well combined.
Pour the batter into each cone, filling them about ¾ of the way full. We like to use a piping bag to make this process easier and less messy.
12 ice cream cones
Place the filled cones in a cupcake pan to keep them upright in the oven.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12–15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool completely!
Spoon the frosting into a piping bag fitted with a 1M tip, then pipe it onto each cupcake cone. I like to use a swirl pattern to resemble real soft serve ice cream.
32 ounces pink frosting
Add sprinkles on top and serve!

If the egg, oil and water amounts differ from what's listed on the cake mix box, go with the amounts on the box.
If you can't find pink icing, you can color white icing with pink food coloring instead.
