Add about 1/3 cup of ice to a 12 ounce cup. Pour in your cooled espresso.
In a metal beaker, mix together milk and caramel creamer. Add the butter extract and butterscotch syrup, stirring until fully combined.
1/2 cup milk, 1 teaspoon butter extract, 1/4 cup caramel creamer, 2 tablespoon butterscotch syrup
Pour the milk mixture over the chilled espresso.
2 shots of espresso
Add whipped cream and gold sprinkles for a fun garnish.
Chill your espresso before pouring over ice to avoid melting the ice too quickly.
Use whole milk for the creamiest texture, or swap in almond milk for a dairy-free version.
Use a tall glass so there’s room for layering the espresso, milk, and toppings.
If you don’t have espresso, use strong brewed coffee instead.
Make a large batch of the milk-syrup mixture ahead of time and store it in the fridge for quick lattes all week.
