  • 3 ounces lemon instant pudding mix 1 box
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1/4 cup limoncello
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip
  • whipped cream for topping optional
  • fresh lemon slices for garnish optional
  • lemon zest for garnish optional

Instructions

  • Whisk instant pudding mix and milk together in a large mixing bowl.
    3 ounces lemon instant pudding mix, 1 1/4 cups milk
  • Add vodka and limoncello, then whisk again.
    1/2 cup vodka, 1/4 cup limoncello
  • Add the Cool Whip and whisk until well combined. Divide the pudding mixture evenly between 16 plastic shot cups (we used the 2 ounce size).

  • Chill the shots in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Just before serving, top with whipped cream, a lemon slice, and lemon zest.

Notes

  • Though it's tempting, don't go too heavy on the vodka and limoncello. If you do, your shots may not be thick enough.
  • For an easy no-mess way to fill your shot cups, try piping the pudding mixture through a pastry bag or a plastic bag with the corner cut off.
