Ingredients

  • football cheese ball
  • green olives
  • mixed nuts
  • sugar snap peas
  • baby carrots
  • celery sticks
  • pretzel bites see notes
  • string cheese optional for turning pretzel bites into mini footballs
  • salami slices
  • colby jack cheese cubes
  • garlic crostini toasts
  • assorted crackers
  • potato chips

Instructions

  • Place the prepared football cheese ball in the center of a 20x13 inch serving tray.

  • Add small dishes or ramekins of olives and mixed nuts to opposite corners of the board.

  • Next, place sugar snap peas and baby carrots in the two empty corners.

  • Add celery sticks along the bottom, then fill in the lower right corner with football-themed pretzel bites.

  • Take each piece of salami and fold it into fourths. Then stack the pieces together, secure them with a toothpick and place them along the left side of the football cheese ball.

  • Arrange the cheese cubes around the mixed nuts, then add the garlic crostini toasts between the cheese cubes and carrots,.

  • Finally, fill in the extra spaces with assorted crackers, chips and hard pretzels. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • I used store-bought pretzel bites but if you have a few extra minutes, these homemade pretzel bites are always a big hit!
  • To make your pretzel bites look like mini footballs,  start by placing one piece of shredded mozzarella in the center of each one. Then add two smaller pieces over the top to resemble the stitches on a football. Finally, bake for 5 minutes at 350 degrees in the oven and let cool.
