If you like blueberry waffles, you’re going to love this indulgent breakfast recipe!

I love blueberry waffles for breakfast but in the past I’ve just topped them with a little syrup and that was enough for me. However, after making an awesome blueberry syrup recipe last week, I ended up making my favorite waffle recipe ever. It was so easy that you almost can’t call it a recipe because there are so few steps involved.
The only thing that takes a little time (but not much) is the blueberry syrup. It takes about five minutes prep time and 20 minutes to cook. However, you can easily make it ahead of time so it’s ready when you need it.
What really makes this easy is that I use frozen waffles. I just don’t have enough cabinet space for yet another kitchen gadget so a waffle maker is out of the question for me. I like frozen waffles anyway so it’s a no-brainer for me. Once you taste this, you won’t even know the difference!
Super Easy Blueberry Waffles With Cream Cheese
Start by toasting two blueberry waffles. Spread cream cheese over one and add blueberries.

Top with the second waffle. Add more cream cheese and fresh blueberries, then smother with blueberry syrup.

This isn’t exactly diet friendly so I wouldn’t eat it every day but it sure is good for a treat once in awhile. Sometimes you just have to indulge yourself and these blueberry waffles are every bit as good as they look!!!

If you like strawberries, you can try the same thing using my strawberry syrup recipe! You’ll definitely want to try this one first though!
