Just because your mornings are rushed, breakfast doesn’t have to be boring. These Strawberry Whipped Cream Waffles will get your day off to a great start!
Now that school is back in session, our mornings have gotten a lot busier. That means fancy breakfasts are out and quick meals are in. Quick doesn’t have to mean boring though. I’m a big fan of taking shortcuts while still making meals fun and delicious. Eggo waffles make that pretty easy to accomplish.
My girls love Eggo products so when we went to Target, I let them pick out their favorites. I think little Keira was pretty happy about her Eggo Blueberry Waffles. Ashling chose the Eggo French Toaster Sticks and couldn’t even wait until breakfast. She had to have one as soon as we got home!
Need another reason to like Eggo waffles? How about this free activity book for the kids! I love keeping stuff like this in the car so I have it handy when we go out to eat. If we can keep the girls busy, my hubby and I can have an actual conversation instead of listening to “I’m bored” or “When is the food going to be here”. Parents, you know exactly what I’m talking about so don’t forget to bring this with you.
It has coloring pages, memory games, word searches and tons of other fun activities to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy your night out.
My family was pretty happy to find out that breakfast was going to be Strawberry Whipped Cream Waffles with a homemade strawberry syrup. If you’ve never made your own strawberry syrup, it’s a lot easier than you’d think. You can even make it ahead of time so that you don’t have to worry about it in the morning. Check out my strawberry syrup recipe here. You won’t believe how easy it is (there’s video too).
Toast your Eggo Waffles, top it with your delicious syrup and add whipped cream. I thought my little Keira was going to explode when she saw these…that girl sure does get excited when you put whipped cream on her breakfast!
After breakfast, the girls got ready to leave for a mini vacation with daddy and granny. Ashling saw the activity book I’d printed out and decided that it would be fun to bring along on their road trip. Restaurants, road trips…this activity book is really coming in handy!
Still can’t get enough (I know, me neither), follow Eggo on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter.

I love this breakfast! It looks like it took a lot of time to put together, but it’s so simple for school mornings!
Thanks so much! The best part about it was that even though it looked “fancy”, it was super easy to make!
Yum! My kids LOVE Eggos. I’m lucky though because the little one actually eats them frozen. Super easy breakfast for me! He’s teething so he loves those frozen waffles. I can’t wait to try this sauce out soon!
I don’t even remember the last time I had Eggo waffles. My daughter’s obsessed with anything breakfast-related that has syrup, so I need to think about getting her some for easier mornings! I’ve never made my own syrup before either, but that seriously looks so easy. Strawberries are on sale this week, so I’m gonna attempt this!
Now that is a great way to make frozen waffles extra special! Looks delicious.
Thanks! Waffles are always good but this definitely makes them even better!
Nothing better than having a delicious breakfast that is also fast and easy to serve! Great idea for the toppings!

This doesn’t look easy… but after reading it, it really is! Nothing like a 5-minute breakfast to start the day, right?
My boys are all about the Eggo waffles lately – breakfast, lunch and dinner! Love this idea for dressing them up a little! 🙂
