5 Things To Love About The New Legoland Beach Retreat

Thanks so much to Legoland for hosting us so we could check out the new bungalows. As always, all opinions are my own.
When we recently stayed at the Legoland Beach Retreat, we had a feeling it was going to be pretty awesome, especially since the bungalows alone were so adorable. We were not disappointed!
Though we thought the bungalows were pretty cool, that's not all the Legoland Beach Retreat had to offer. With a fun pool filled with Legos, playgrounds, adult Capri Suns and more, there was something for everyone in the family to love. Here's what I loved most:
Curbside Check-in
Remember when you had to wake sleeping babies and drag bored kids through a lobby to check in? Not at the LEGOLAND Beach Retreat! Just pull up to the window, give them your info and you’ll get your room key. It’s as easy as ordering a cheeseburger!
The Bungalows
What’s not to love about these bungalows?!
Built to look like LEGO houses, they’re as much fun for the adults as they are for the kids! The outside was so inviting that we couldn’t wait to see what it looked like on the inside!

The first thing you notice when you walk in are the brightly colored murals. Peek behind a curtain and you’ll find more fun.

My girls loved this “hidden” room and with a trundle bed at the bottom, these bungalows can comfortably sleep a family of five. A bonus: it comes with a box of LEGOS to keep the kids entertained. This room was also covered with murals and featured a fun David Hasselhoff lookalike.

While the kids were impressed with the LEGOS, I was impressed that the coffee packs came with real creamers! It’s the little things in life, right?

Even the bathroom was bright and cheery!

With colorful murals on the walls, hidden bunk beds and even LEGOS for the kids to play with, it was impossible not to love this place.
Dedicated Playgrounds

Each set of bungalows formed a circle with a playground in the middle. Parents can sit on the patio and enjoy their coffee (with real cream) while the kids could play and have some fun.
Free Breakfast
If you have a big family, or even a small one, those three little words mean a lot. No, I’m not talking about “I love you.” I’m referring to “breakfast is included”! Meals can be a big expense when you’re on vacation and with breakfast taken care of, that’s one less thing to worry about. The buffet had a little bit of everything, with something to please even the pickiest eaters.

If the kids finish before the adults, there’s an area set aside where they can play. I loved being able to keep an eye on the kids without feeling like I had to rush through my meal.
The Pool

What kid wouldn’t want to play in a pool filled with LEGOS?! I felt very safe with my kids here too. There were life vests for the little ones and lifeguards on duty to watch them as they splashed around. My girls had so much fun that they didn’t want to leave!

There’s also another playground, sand for building castles and cornhole games.

The Pool Bar
When you’re on vacation, sometimes it’s nice to enjoy a little adult beverage. Just inside the pool area, the bar serves up fun cocktails for the moms and dads. With malibu rum, orange vodka and sprite, I had to give the Fish In A Bag a try.

The bartender described this as a Capri Sun for adults, which I think summed it up pretty well. Give it a try...it was pretty tasty!
The Shop

Just under the giant lighthouse, there’s a shop where you can buy sunscreen, snacks and even LEGOS to take home. I always love when there’s a shop on site because you never know what you’re going to need. It’s always nice not to have to leave the property especially because I have a bad habit of forgetting the sunscreen!
We absolutely loved staying at the Legoland Beach Retreat and would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact, the girls are already begging to go back!
