Need a simple after school snack that you know the kids will love? With just three ingredients, these Frozen Banana Pops are the perfect treat for hungry kids and the perfect easy snack recipe for busy moms! #ad

It’s hard to believe summer is almost over and my girls are just days away from starting school. This year is a big one. Not only will my oldest be going into fourth grade, but my “baby” is starting Kindergarten. She can’t wait to go to school with her big sister…or maybe she’s just excited that she can finally ride the school bus. Either way, it’s a major milestone.

Of course, since school will be back in session, I’ll need to have plenty of after school snacks on hand. These snacks have to be quick and easy, since our afternoons are going to be busy with gymnastics and other activities. That’s why these Frozen Banana Pops are so perfect. I already love recipes with five ingredients or less and this one gets bonus points for having just three! Besides being super easy, I can make them ahead of time, freeze them, then just pull them out whenever we want a treat.

Three ingredients, easy to make AND the kids love them? It’s definitely the perfect recipe for busy moms!

How To Make Frozen Banana Pops

Start with six small bananas and cut them in half. Insert a small pop stick into the cut end.

Melt one tub (7 oz) of dark, semi-sweet dipping chocolate according to the directions. Dip the banana in the chocolate or use a pastry brush to brush the chocolate over it.

Roll the bananas in Cocoa Pebbles Cereal until they’re completely covered.

Finally, roll the banana in Cocoa Pebbles and freeze

Freeze the bananas for 4 hours or until firm, then store in an airtight container. Now you have the perfect after school snack for when the kids get home. Don’t worry, they’re not just for kids. You can have one too!

Little Keira already loved Cocoa Pebbles because they magically transform her regular milk into chocolate milk but now she has another reason to love them. Bananas dipped in chocolate are pretty delish to begin with, but rolling them in Cocoa Pebbles makes them that much better!

These also make a great snack for playdates so invite the neighbors over for some fun. Make them ahead of time and pull them out once the kids work up an appetite.
