Tips & Tricks

  • If you don’t have grenadine, you can use cherry syrup. Or for an extra boozy treat, try a cherry flavored liqueur.
  • This would also be delicious in a white chocolate cherry version. Simply use the white chocolate liqueur in place of regular.
  • Top with some pink and red sprinkles or conversation hearts for a cute Valentine’s Day garnish.
  • This can also double as a chocolate covered cherry martini recipe. Just double the recipe and pour it into a martini glass instead. You may have to triple it, depending on the size of your glass.

What Kind of Vodka Should I Use?

Choose your favorite mid-range brand. Tito’s is one of our favorites. Pinnacle also makes a delicious whipped cream flavored vodka which would be great in this recipe. You could also try this recipe with cherry vodka.

Can I Make a Dairy-Free Version?

Sure – you can make this dairy free if you choose a dairy free chocolate liqueur. And don’t forget to skip the whipped cream or substitute a dairy free version.
