Tips & Tricks

  • If you don’t have vanilla vodka, the plain variety will work as well. You could also use whipped cream or chocolate vodka.
  • Cadbury mini creme eggs work well for the garnish. Or you can use chocolate shavings or chocolate sprinkles.
  • If you don’t have heavy cream, you can substitute half and half, but I wouldn’t recommend using milk or your drink will lose its creamy texture.
  • For even more chocolate taste, melt chocolate chips and coat the rim of the glass (or the inside of the glass) with the melted chocolate.

Can I Make These Ahead of Time?

These will taste best if served immediately after you make them, to ensure that the ingredients are thoroughly mixed and chilled. I wouldn’t recommend preparing them in advance.

What Type of Cocktail Glass Should I Use?

You can use anything you like! This cocktail does pack quite a punch, so you may want to go with a smaller serving size and use something like a coupe glass or martini glass, or even a mini mason jar.
