How To Organize Your Refrigerator Pin

My refrigerator may keep my food cold but it’s been kind of a hot mess. I’ve tried to organize it but before long, it always seemed to go back to looking like it did when I started.

I’d almost given up but I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I kept rearranging everything neatly in the fridge but nothing really had a spot. If something was in the back, the stuff in front would get pushed out of the way and poof, all my rearranging went out the window. That’s all changed now that I’ve discovered HEXA products from Spectrum Diversified.

Organizing Your Refrigerator With HEXA Products

If you need to organize your refrigerator as badly as I did, you’re going to love these products! I first discovered HEXA drawer trays a few months ago when I needed to organize my kitchen drawers. The difference was like night and day and even three months later, my drawers STILL look neat and tidy, with everything in it’s place (and I’m as shocked as anyone!).

That’s why I knew they’d be perfect for my refrigerator makeover too. These HEXA organizers are both stylish and functional, blending a modern, innovative design with a natural sensibility. In other words, they were going to look great in my fridge!

Refrigerator organization product with hexagon shapes

The thing that really sets these refrigerator bins apart is their innovative hexagon shape, known as HEXOLOGY. The patterns are specially designed to keep food off the bottom of the refrigerator so there’s no dirt buildup on your fresh fruits and veggies. It also improves air flow, which helps your produce and other foods stay fresher, longer.

Organizing bins in different shapes

Because these come in a variety of different sizes, you can mix and match them to fit the size of your refrigerator. Durable and phthalate free, they have a slender fit that works for most shelves and can be stacked to create even more useable space.

The best thing about using these bins is that you can pretty much store anything in them, from fresh herbs to soda cans. Because they’re clear, it’s easy to see what’s inside but they can also be labeled with dry erase markers.

They have more than just trays and bins though. When I saw their Lazy Susan for the refrigerator, I thought it was genius! Now we don’t have to push things out of the way to find the condiment we’re looking for. One spin of the Lazy Susan and it’s right there.

HEXA also makes a handy egg tray. It’s a whole lot sturdier than the styrofoam and cardboard trays the eggs are packed in. Plus, it’s super convenient and makes it easy to just reach in and grab a couple eggs when you need them.

Now that I had all my new HEXA organizers, I was ready to get this messy fridge organized once and for all! See what I mean about a hot mess? Everything is just kind of thrown in willy nilly. I’ve got peppers in the meat drawer, meat in the fruit drawer and finding what you need is like going on a scavenger hunt. Plus, my girls open their juice pouch boxes like a bear attacking the food at a campground…that’s not pretty.

Step 1: Clean Your Refrigerator

The first thing you’ll need to do is pull everything out and clean the refrigerator shelves and drawers. I like to use antibacterial wipes and finish with warm, soapy water. This is where HEXA’s decorative disinfecting wipes container comes in. This new product from Spectrum helps dress up your antibacterial wipes in a very modern way.

The dispenser fits both large and small containers of disinfectant wipes and because it’s so stylish, I can keep it right on my counter. That way, when I need a wipe in a hurry, it’s right there. No more digging around under the sink for my cleaning wipes!

Step 2: Fill The Trays

Once the refrigerator is clean, you’re ready to organize the food into bins! I started with the fruits and vegetables, using larger ones for foods like peppers and onions and smaller bins for lemons and limes,

Step 3: Find a spot for everything

I started by finally putting my meats and cheeses in the right drawers. The small HEXA organizer was the perfect size for storing opened containers of shredded cheese.

I used a combination of large and small bins to organize fruits and vegetables.

Next up, the shelves. The large organizers are perfect for drinks like sodas and juice pouches and I was happy to finally get ride of the ugly torn boxes in my fridge. The bonus is that it’s easier for us to get to our drinks when we’re thirsty.

I also think the egg bin looks so much nicer than a styrofoam container.

I arranged our most used condiments on the Lazy Susan and placed our sauces and jellies in a small tray. We don’t use them all that much but if we did, I might think about getting a second Lazy Susan instead.

Keep going until your refrigerator looks just the way you want it. Once you’ve done all that, step back and take a look at the difference. My fridge looked a million times better! So THIS is what it was supposed to look like?

I love the way my refrigerator looks now and these HEXA products made all the difference! My family is going to be pretty shocked when they come home and open the fridge looking for a snack.

The great thing about these bins is that when they do need to be washed, the Hexology tray comes out and everything can go straight into the dishwasher. Not only do I have an organized refrigerator but one that’s easier to clean too! As a busy mom, I’ll take all the help I can get!
