Tips & Tricks

  • For best results, make sure the Sprite and pineapple juice are chilled. This will help your sherbet to stay frozen longer. You can also freeze extra juice in ice cube trays and use the cubes to keep the punch cold.
  • Feel free to use any different flavor of sherbet that you like. You can even use mango or orange juice in place of the pineapple or use orange soda or Ginger Ale in place of lemon-lime soda.
  • Don’t stir the punch after adding the sherbet. Not only will it look prettier, but it will make it easier for guests to scoop some of the sherbet into their cups.
  • Make this punch a little fancier by add a few orange slices on top for garnish.
  • We love the orange version for Halloween but you can switch up the colors for different occasions. Use lime sherbet for St. Patty’s Day or Raspberry Sherbet for Christmas.

How Much Punch Will I Need?

A good rule of thumb is to have about a gallon of punch for every ten party guests.

Can I Make a Boozy Version?

Yes – You can turn this simple punch into an adult beverage by replacing the Sprite with sparkling wine or Prosecco.

What If I Don’t Have a Punch Bowl?

No problem – just use any large pitcher! And be sure to put out a spoon or ladle so guests can scoop out some of the sherbet.
