I love coffee all year long but sometimes it’s fun to change things up a little. In the past, I’ve taking it up a notch with coffee drinks like my Cookies & Cream Frappe and Dark Chocolate Caramel Latte. Now the holidays are here, and since nothing says Christmas more than gingerbread, this delicious Gingerbread Coffee recipe is a fun twist on your traditional coffee!
Made with flavorful ingredients like gingerbread syrup, cinnamon and vanilla, this Gingerbread Coffee is a yummy coffee recipe that’s perfect for pretty much any occasion. Drink it when you’re snuggled up on the sofa watching holiday movies or if you’re having guests over for a Christmas party.
It’s not hard to make either (because you should know by now that I don’t do complicated recipes). Just throw a few ingredients together, add a cookie and you’ve got one tasty coffee drink.
Start by brewing coffee in a drip coffee maker or french press. In a sauce pan over low heat, combine sugar, vanilla, gingerbread syrup, cinnamon and the coffee. Stir over low heat for about three minutes, then pour into coffee mug.
Add creamer or milk, then stir.
Top with whipped cream, sprinkle with gingerbread crumbles and add a gingerbread man. Voila…that’s all it takes. Your gingerbread coffee is ready!
