I love coffee all year long but we’re taking it up a notch for the holidays. A fun twist on your traditional coffee recipe, this delicious Gingerbread Coffee will really get you in the mood for Christmas.

With ingredients like gingerbread syrup, cinnamon and vanilla, this flavored coffee is perfect for any holiday occasion. Make it for a special brunch or even as a delicious finale to your Christmas gathering or holiday meal.

How To Make Gingerbread Coffee

Step 1: Start by brewing coffee in a drip coffee maker or French press. Pour 3/4 cup of coffee into a mug.

Step 2: In a sauce pan over low heat, combine sugar, vanilla, gingerbread syrup, cinnamon and the coffee. Stir over low heat for about three minutes, then pour into coffee mug.

Step 3: Add creamer or milk, then stir.

Step 4: Top with whipped cream, sprinkle with gingerbread crumbles and add a gingerbread man. You can buy your cookies from the store but it’s even more fun when you make your own soft gingerbread cookies from scratch!

Sure! Nothing beats fresh coffee but if you need to save time, you can make this recipe the night before. Then just reheat it in the microwave the next morning. Just wait to add the whipped cream and cookie until just before serving.

This Gingerbread Coffee is perfect for holiday get-togethers or just snuggling on the couch on a chilly winter day!



  • Brew coffee in a drip coffee maker or a French press. Pour 3/4 cup of coffee into a mug.
    3/4 cup black coffee
  • In a sauce pan over low heat, add sugar, vanilla, gingerbread syrup, cinnamon. Stir for about 3 minutes over low heat, then pour over coffee.
    1/2 Tablespoon sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 Tablespoon Torani gingerbread syrup, 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Add creamer and mix well.
    4 tablespoons Italian sweet cream coffee creamer or milk
  • Top with whipped cream, sprinkle with crumbled gingerbread cookie and garnish with a gingerbread man.
    2-3 Tablespoons Whipped cream, 1 Gingerbread cookie
