Ingredients

- Cool Whip
- Whipped cream for topping
- Oreo cookies, roughly chopped, for topping
How to Make Oreo Pudding Shots
Step 1: Whisk the pudding mix and cold milk together in a medium bowl.
Step 2: Pour in the vanilla vodka. Mix well.
Step 3: Add the whipped topping. Continue to whisk until everything is well combined.
Step 4: Divide the pudding mixture evenly between 16 2-ounce cups. Then, move the shots to the refrigerator to chill for at least 30 minutes.
Step 5: Just before serving, top your shot with whipped cream and chopped Oreo cookies. You can also sprinkle crushed cookies over the top if you like.
Tips & Tricks
- Serve these like a mini dessert and add tiny plastic spoons. It’ll make them much easier for your guests to eat.
- Be careful not to add too much alcohol. If you do, your pudding may not set properly and your shots could be too watery.
- If you don’t have vanilla vodka, regular vodka works too. I also love these shots with whipped cream vodka. Chocolate flavored vodka or cake vodka would be delicious too.
How Do I Store Oreo Pudding Shots?
You’ll want to store your shots without the whipped cream and cookie garnish, so be sure not to garnish until you’re ready to serve them. Keep your shots covered (we like to use the shot cups with lids), or you can place them in an airtight container. They should keep refrigerated for 3-4 days.
Why Do My Shots Look Runny?
One reason they might be runny is if you’ve added too much vodka. Otherwise, they still may look runny right after you mix in the alcohol, but they should thicken up after you’ve added the Cool Whip and chilled them. You can also put them in the freezer for a few minutes to thicken faster.
