These Halloween Color-by-Number pages are such a cute and easy way to get kids excited for spooky season! They’re perfect for parties, classrooms, or just a rainy day activity at home.

Six Halloween-themed color-by-number worksheets featuring a candy corn, Frankenstein, vampire, mummy, cyclops, and witch, surrounded by festive decorations on a purple background.

Back when I taught kindergarten, activities like this were always a huge hit with my students. They had so much fun just sitting and coloring with their friends and I loved how they were learning number recognition and fine motor skills without even realizing it! There’s nothing wrong with sneaking in a little learning while having fun…I won’t tell if you won’t!

Each printable includes a number guide to help kids match colors to numbers, so every masterpiece turns out perfectly (or they can even get creative and do their own thing!).

Halloween Color By Number – Traditional & Addition

Because I know every child learns differently, I’ve included two versions of these Halloween printables:

  • Traditional Color-by-Number: Each number from 1–9 is assigned a color for easy, stress-free fun.
  • Math Edition: Perfect for a little extra challenge! Instead of numbers, kids will solve simple addition problems to find the right color. (For example, if “yellow” is 2+3, every section with a 5 will be colored yellow.)

Why We Love This

  • It’s secretly educational: These worksheets help kids follow directions, build fine motor skills, and practice number recognition or even addition, all while having a blast.
  • Great for all ages: Younger kids can color freely, while older ones love following the color guide to make their picture just right.
  • Six adorable designs: You’ll find a vampire, owl, witch, Frankenstein, skeleton, and candy corn…the perfect mix of cute and spooky for Halloween.
  • Perfect for any setting: Whether you’re a teacher looking for a classroom activity or a parent planning a Halloween party, these printables make things easy (and fun!).
