How To Make Grinch Chocolate Covered Oreos

Step 1: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside. Reserve ½ cup of light green candy melt pieces for the drizzle.

Step 2: Melt the remaining candy melts in a double boiler over low heat, stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted and smooth. You can also melt them in the microwave on a low setting in 30 second intervals, stirring in between.

Step 3: Use a fork to dip one Oreo cookie into the melted chocolate. Lift it out and gently tap the fork against the edge of the double boiler to remove excess chocolate. Place it on the prepared tray and repeat with the remaining Oreos.

Tip: If your chocolate is too thick, you can melt it by adding a little bit of coconut oil or Wilton EZ Thin Dipping Aid.

Step 4: Place the remaining candy melts in a piping bag, twist it shut, and microwave it on low until fully melted and smooth. Massage the bag every 1-2 minutes to ensure that the candy melts are melting evenly.

Step 5: After melting the candy, snip a small piece of the tip off the piping bag. Drizzle over the dipped Oreos and then top each with a red heart. Be sure to add the heart will the chocolate is still wet.
