How to Make Grinch Jello Shots

Step 1: Place 12 Jello shot cups onto a cookie sheet.

Step 2: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove the hot water from the heat and whisk in green apple gelatin powder.

Step 3: Add ⅓ cup cold water.

Step 4: Add ⅔ cup vodka and stir.

This Grinch Jello Shots Recipe is the perfect addition to all your holiday parties! It's the most fun way we can think of to get our holiday parties off to a festive start!



  • Place 12 Jello shot cups onto a cookie sheet.
  • Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Remove from the heat and empty jello powder into the boiling water. Stir well.
    1 box green apple gelatin, 2 ⅓ cups water
  • Mix in ⅓ cup cold water and 2/3 cup of vodka.
    2 ⅓ cups water, ⅔ cup vodka
  • Pour the Jello mixture into the plastic shot glasses, dividing it evenly between each one.
  • Move the shots to the refrigerator to chill for at least 4 hours
  • Before serving, top each shot with whipped cream and a red candy heart.

  • Make a non-alcoholic version for the kids by replacing the vodka with water or pineapple juice.
