You can even fill it with flowers and use it as decoration for the table.
Perfect for class parties or family craft time at home, it’s the perfect way for little ones to let their creativity shine. They can even pick their own colors and designs, whether they’re coloring one of the black-and-white templates or printing out a quick and easy colored version.

Materials needed:

- Printable Easter basket template (choose your favorite)
- Scissors
- Cardstock
- Glue
- Crayons, markers or colored pencils
How To Make Your Easter Basket Craft
First, download and print the free printable template. You can print as many as you need. If you chose a black-and-white version, you can let the kids get creative with crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
Next, cut the basket out and fold along the dotted lines, making neat, straight folds. Then glue the flaps (making sure to glue the right side) and press firmly against the opposite sides to form the sides of the basket.
Finally, fold each end of the handle, add glue, and secure it to the inside of the basket. Make sure you give the glue plenty of time to dry so that the handle stays in place.

When they’re done, the kiddos can fill these with some Easter grass and add little toys, candy or anything else they’d like. They can even fill them with something fun as a gift for a friend.
I would not recommend them for an Easter egg hunt though…you’ll only get about 3-4 eggs before you’re done!
