I’m all about the easy recipes! I mean, I’m a busy mom with plenty to do and I don’t have a lot of extra time to spend in the kitchen. I want delicious food though…it’s just better when it’s delicious and easy at the same time!
This is even more true when it comes to sweets. I’ve got all kinds of easy dessert recipes up my sleeve, from no-bake cheesecake bites to fresh strawberry pie but until now, I’d never tried monkey bread. I don’t know why…I just never got around to it. All that’s changed now though!
You’d think monkey bread would be complicated but the best thing about this easy monkey bread recipe is that there’s a huge shortcut! It uses ready to bake cinnamon rolls from the can which saves you a gazillion steps!
Easy Monkey Bread
Yes, maybe it’s cheating a little but nobody will ever know! All they’ll know is that this is one awesome dessert! Start by popping open a can of cinnamon rolls.
Cut each one into fourths.
Next, quarter your strawberries.
Now just put your cinnamon rolls and fruit in a bundt pan, pour in an egg, butter and vanilla mixture and bake for 20 minutes.
This easy monkey bread recipe tastes so good that you’ll want to make it all the time! I mean, monkey bread is already delish but when you add the berries, it takes it to a whole new level!
All you need is five minutes and five ingredients!
Easy Monkey Bread With Fresh Berries
Ingredients
- 1 can ready to bake cinnamon rolls with frosting
- 1 cup strawberries
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup butter melted
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375
- Spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- Quarter strawberries and set aside.
- Separate the cinnamon rolls and cut into fourths, setting frosting aside for later.
- Mix butter, egg and vanilla.
- Place cinnamon rolls, strawberries and blueberries in the bundt pan, setting aside a few berries for garnish.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly into the pan and bake for 20 minutes.
- Top with frosting and fruit and enjoy!
