Don’t go through the trouble of cutting up all that fruit and then just throw it into a boring bowl. This pretty pineapple fruit bowl is easy to make and so much prettier!
Want to make a pretty fruit bowl for your next get-together? I recently hosted a brunch at my house and made this super easy pineapple fruit bowl. I’ve made it a couple times now and really love how pretty it looks! It doesn’t take long to make and it really adds a little something extra to your table setting.
All you need to do is lay your pineapple on a cutting board and slice off one side. Then just cut out the pineapple on the inside and slice it into chunks to use in your fruit bowl (after you throw away the core). Now your bowl is ready!
Add whatever assortment of fresh fruit you’d like! I made mine with pineapple, strawberries and blueberries…yumm!
This served about six people (with a little left over). If you’re having more guests, you could put this in the center of a large serving tray with more fruit around it. Now I’m trying to think of other fun bowls I can make besides the traditional melon bowls. Any suggestions?

So cute! I remember you doing this for the pancake post and was tempted to try this over the weekend. I have a pineapple right now. I think you’ve given me the push I need to try this ASAP!
This is adorable! Love the presentation. It just makes it more fun 🙂
Thanks so much! It was definitely more fun than the bowl I was originally going to use 🙂
Hi Lisa,
Thanks for bringing your recipe to the Pit Stop. I love the photo with the fruit in it!
