Tips & Tricks

  • Transfer the shot mixture to a measuring cup with a lip before filling your shot glasses. This is the best way to fill them neatly with no mess.
  • To make these extra boozy, you can add a couple tablespoons of Irish Whiskey and reduce the milk by the same amount. Just be careful not to add too much alcohol or the pudding will not set properly.
  • Garnish with chocolate shavings or mini chocolate chips and a sprinkle of cocoa powder. You can also add red sprinkles on top for Valentine’s Day or green sprinkles for St. Patrick’s Day.
  • Turn these chocolate shots into s’mores pudding shots by rimming the plastic shot glasses with crushed graham crackers and topping the pudding with toasted mini marshmallows.

How do I Store Bailey’s Pudding Shots?

You can keep them covered in the refrigerator for about a day. For best results, use the shot cups with lids if you plan to store them overnight. If your cups don’t have lids, you can also cover them with plastic wrap and place them in an airtight container.

Can I Make Them in Advance?

Sure – you can make them a day in advance and keep them in the refrigerator until party time. Just don’t add the whipped cream until you’re ready to serve. I don’t recommend making them more than a day ahead of time, as the pudding will lose some of its creamy texture and rich flavor.
